I was afraid this knife would feel cheap and it doesn't at all. The knife is perfectly weighted and very sturdy. I bought this for my dad for father's day and he loves it. Great gift.
My husband loves these knives!

My husband loves these Kershaw knives. He has no complaints. This one was smaller than the others he's had, but still loves it. We got this for a little more that $14 on sale!!!!
A solid, well-built knife, it just wasn't for me

I hate to give this knife only 3 stars. It really deserves better. And I think for a lot of other people this could easily be a 4 or 5 star product. The knife itself is well made. The frame lock is solid and the knife is just about the right length to grip comfortably with all 4 fingers on the handle. Mine is a little stiff to open one-handed with the thumb stud, but not terribly so.

So why only 3 stars then? Well it suffers by comparison to some of the other Kershaw knives I own. I miss the SpeedSafe mechanism for easier one-handed opening that some of the other models have. And the serrated blade is more difficult to keep sharp (there is a non-serrated version of this model too). It's also a little too big to carry comfortably in my pocket as an EDC knife. I find that I use my Kershaw Ken Onion Chive and Kershaw Ken Onion Baby Boa much more by comparison.

Still it's a solidly built product and I would recommend it despite the fact that it didn't quite meet my needs.
