Pocket Knife Choices

When you talk about pocket knives, the first knife that would come to mind is the kind that you can use for anything and is handy enough to be put into your pocket. Not al the models can lock open, but that’s no problem especially for the utilitarian use. Some of them also have multiple blades for different purposes.

An example of a pocket knife is a locking knife. Several companies have created a wide range of products with locks of all types. One of these companies is the Buck Knives company. One of the knives that Buck Knives has is the Buck/Mayo Waimea.

In celebrating his 25th year in knife-making, Tom Mayo makes a small-size gentleman’s folder. The Buck/Mayo Waimea costs $284.00. It may be more costly than any of the knives that Buck Knives has lined up right now, but it is fairly worth it since the handle material is made out of Titanium. The carry system is also made out of Titanium.

The Buck/Mayo Waimea has a frame lock design and 25 lightening holes. Its length when closed is at 3 and 5/8 inches or 9.2 cm, the blade length is at 2 and 5/8 inches or 6.7 cm.
