crap
i ordered a knife and first it took 3 days longer to get here than expected, then i took it out and was flipping it and dropped it (3 feet) and it broke. 5 screws came out and 1 of the cylinders holding it together. im reall p****d off and hope for another knife from them soon.

DO NOT BUY!!!! REPEAT DO NOT BUY!!!
i bought this about 9-10 months ago and only used it 3 times.. for cutting a small branch and prying 2 paint cans open. i was using it today when the 1 screw( holding the grip and the blade) SLID OUT and the blade fell and cut my leg. deep gash. and blood started to gush out and i had to go to the hospital for 3 stitches. DO NOT BUY. IT IS EXTREMLY CHEAP QUALITY. buy a better knife. it will save you more money in the long run. i also have pictures.

Large and flashy, but not very practical
I bought this knife a while back, and haven't really had much chance to really test or use it until recently. When I first got the knife, I was very impressed by the size, design, and overall feel of it. Easy to open and close, mean looking blade, nice heavy feel in the hand.

However, when I took it camping with me last week, I was very disappointed by its performance. When I clipped it to my belt, the first thing I immediately noticed was that since the clip is a good inch down from the top of the knife, the top would periodically jab into my waist when I walked or sat down, which was very annoying.

Also, after two days of use cutting leaves and twigs from wood for tinder, the majority of the screws holding the knife have somehow managed to come loose, and 4 of them have fallen out without me noticing, causing the two halves of the handle to now wobble whenever I try to use it.

But perhaps the most annoying of all is that now, for some reason, the knife refuses to open properly. When I flip out the blade, for some reason it doesn't extend far enough for the locking lever to snap in place, so now I can't lock the blade in position. Checking the knife reveals that this is not due to debris somewhere in the knife, so I can only assume that the missing screws allowed the knife to shift enough that the alignment is now off.

Overall, I am dissatisfied with this product, having only managed to use it once, and I will be buying a sturdier if not as impressive knife now, either a Gerber or a Smith and Wesson.

PROS:
Large, serrated blade, heavy feel, aggressive look

CONS:
Poorly designed and assembled, easily falls apart, uncomfortable to wear on belt.

Beasty But Cheaply Made
Stamped 440 Stainless China, this knife is part of that long line of cheap knives made these days. It might scare your friends or a would be mugger, but it was not built for any true utility work. In fact it's a knife that you could carry around all the time, but might not be really there for you when you need it. I put a scuff in the blade when I sharpened it, and removed the blade to buff it. Now, one of the small allen head screws keeps falling out, and another's head is stripped because they are too soft and not deep enough heads. You can't flip this knife open because the locking mechanism gets stuck on the opposite side of the blade. Also, the locking mechanism ,on my knife, has started to work itself to the opposite side of the blade on its own.

Quite beasty and impressive looking with a nice blade design, this knife is surprising light weight with a good feel in the grip. It's too bad this knife is so cheaply made. It really has the proper size, and grip for a nice folding pocket knife. It would be nice to see a company take this design to a higher level.

If you really want a Solid constructed knife of this size:
Spyderco's Police C07 Models are very nice, however be ready to spend 0-0 bucks. Great looks and feel, at the end of the day this is a dollar knife.

bad !!
i bought this because of the name "matrix" and because its look. and i was kinda happy when i had it but it didnt last long at all.
